This obscure song was demoed in the autumn of 1999 but wasn't taken any further. Jarvis mentioned it in an interview with Melody Maker at the time: "There is one called Darren - that's quite good. I'm not sure what it's about yet, I've not written all the words. But I know it's called Darren."
Mark Webber's father Tony had this to say about it in a review for the fan club: "His 'n' Hers rears its head again, this time with guitars overriding the much used synthesisers of old but with knickers still to the fore."
