The Nightmares were Russell's band c1981/2. They consisted of Russell himself on guitar, Ian on drums, and Dave among, presumably, others.
Ian later went on to drum for the Cramped Legs, Megalomania and Vicious Circles. Nick Banks was also a member of this latter band at some point.
Russell Senior later played for Pulp. As did Nick Banks. Who was also in Jass. Who Russell Senior played for too!
