It was the mid-90s. I saw a music video—it was one of the following songs: "Common People," "Mis-Shapes," or "Disco 2000" (I don't remember exactly which one); I just remember that I took note of the band's name and started watching all their videos shown on MTV. I immediately liked the band's style, especially Jarvis's mannerisms. Pulp—and Britpop in general—weren't all that popular in Russia, but I still consider Pulp the best band of that wave.
