In the Olden Days artists were treated differently.
For example, I know of a lead singer who had to lip-sync all the lyrics to one of his group’s songs 8 times whilst being filmed in a simulation of his own living room & not one single frame of it was ever used in the final video. Not one!
Now the truth can be told.
That lead singer was me.
You can all now see the video evidence in the “Disco 2000” lyric video.
It uses some of those 8 takes that mentally scarred me.
“Different Class” celebrates its 30th birthday today. There is a double 45rpm pressing of the album which sounds a whole lot better. & a bonus double album of the entire Pulp set from Glastonbury 1995 (you know: THAT Glastonbury…).
It is happening again.

Now I can begin to heal.
