Cookies are small bits of information stored by a website on a user's computer or device. PulpWiki uses cookies to remember site preferences or options chosen by visitors. Additionally, if you login, a cookie is stored to enable the site software to remember this.
You are free to prevent PulpWiki from setting cookies (via the settings in your web browser or the device that you are using) but be aware some functionality will no longer work properly.
This site does allow selected third party content to be embedded, including YouTube videos, and you should be aware these providers have their own privacy policies and may set cookies.
PulpWiki uses AW Stats to gather statistical information about website visitors. This helps us to understand the number of people visiting the site and their general browsing habits. Information stored includes IP address, country, device, internet browser and operating system. No information is stored for the purpose of personally identifying you.
If you choose to create an account, a username, password and valid email address are required. These details will be securely stored. Only your username will be displayed publicly. Your email address is only visible to the site administrators and will never be shared with any third party. Your email will only be used for account administration, for example, if you wish to reset your password, and exceptionally if the site administrators wish to contact you directly about edits you have made. After logging in you can view and change your email address and password at any time.
Other than the above, any written content, photos or other material you contribute to PulpWiki will be publicly accessible and may be indexed by search engines and online archive sites.
If you contribute to PulpWiki your IP address will be stored along with your edits.
If you wish to delete your account, this is possible by contacting the site administrators. Please note we will only delete your email address and password and, on request, anonymise your username. Due to the collaborative nature of PulpWiki it is not possible to delete your contributions to the site. An exception to this is if content is of a personal nature - for example, there is a section where you can write about how you first discovered Pulp - this can be removed on request.
PulpWiki is currently hosted on servers located in London, England.
