There has previously been uncertainty whether this gig went ahead. Pulp pulled out of the Outrage Tour at about this time due to disagreements. However, the Adelphi Club's history page now includes quotes from two people who remember Jarvis performing in a wheelchair. Nick Clay (ex-Pink Noise): “Jarvis Cocker doing a gig in a wheel-chair mumbling: ‘…in case you’re wondering why I’m in a wheel-chair… it’s because I’m a cripple!’”.
