During September of 2024, I was in My geometry class doing work, it was a very small class, I didn't know anybody or have friends to talk to from that point on. Usually when I work I have music in my ears as it keeps me focused and get work done fast, I was listening to a "Britpop" playlist, Mind you I knew oasis before Pulp. After that Oasis song ended, "Disco 2000" was playing and my gut told me, "don't skip this song". So I didn't.

I listened to it and I immediately fell in love with the lyrics and Beat, etc. I then began stalking my friends playlists on Spotify and turns out they also knew pulp. So I decided to listen to more of Pulp's discography. "Different Class" blew my mind as I fell in love with more of the songs. Then I listened to "His 'N' Hers" at first I wasn't a huge fan, but then It began to grow on me, and I fell in love with that album also. Then I checked the rest, and I was fascinated, the rest is history, from that point on, I became a Pulp fan.

Around this time they were performing in North America and they did three shows in Los Angeles. I was planning to attend one of them, but I couldn't and I wasn't sure if I had all the songs memorized yet to sing along and dance with. That was the biggest regret I've ever made, by not attending them. But then In 2025 They announced another North American Tour and their New Album "More" I was a already the biggest pulp fan in Los Angeles by that point, so I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl, performing with LCD Soundsystem, and that was my first both Pulp and first concert in general. I lost my voice that day. Now I've been collecting Pulp merchandise, Cd's, watching their Music videos and old live shows, and replaying their songs every single day as they have changed my life and became my biggest influence.

I even bought a phone case showing my dedication to them.
