The Fear was made for stadia like this one, sending a chill right through the 80 plus heatwave that's stifled us all day. And Jarvis tries (bless him), lurching out towards the crowd like he's stalking every one of them, seriously threatening, wonderfully dangerous, barefoot and wired, moving more randomly and ridiculously than ever. But they fall apart during an overly jaunty Sorted..., and fail to recover with This Is Hardcore, a song too real, too horrible to register upon ears deaf to everything but the cries of "Free Tibet!", "Human Rights!", and "Hot dogs, getcha hotdogs here!.
