On Thursday I was part of a live event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Bataclan shootings in Paris.
I performed a song called “Vendredi le Treize” - I originally wrote the song in the immediate aftermath of the shootings: I was in Paris at the time & it documents what I saw as I walked around the city with my 12 year-old son the following weekend ...
The way the people of Paris reacted to this event left a big impression on me. As someone said to me that weekend “The strongest form of resistance is to just keep going”. Wise words.
