An extra New York City date has been announced for Tuesday, 10th of April. This is in addition to the previously publicised date on the 11th. Both shows are at the Radio City Music Hall.

Pulp are to play at London's Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, 31st March. The concert is one of a series taking place at the venue to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The official Twitter feed has announced a pre-sale of tickets this Wednesday (22nd February) at 9am - visit http://t.co/0wycPaaK. Tickets go on general sale on Friday (24th February).

It's been announced that Pulp will be presented with the Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at this year's NME Awards. The ceremony will take place at the O2 Academy Brixton on 29th February.

Pulp will also play live on the night. Some tickets have gone on public sale for the event (but unfortunately seem to have already sold out).

After repeated delays it looks like the Fire Records reissues of Pulp's first three albums are finally going to be released on Monday, 13th February.

The remastered albums will be available on CD, 12" LP and digital download. They have redesigned sleeves, which will contain liner-notes by Everett True.

Notes:

• Sink Or Swim is released for the first time, as is an alternative mix of Blue Girls.
• It's not clear which version of Please Don't Worry will be included. The Fire Records website describes it as the Peel Session version (previously released), but the preview clip on sites such as amazon.co.uk suggest it's a different version. [EDIT - it is the previously unreleased It LP session version.]
• Death Comes To Town has only previously been released on a bonus disc that came with Martin Lilleker's 2005 book Beats Working For a Living: The Story of Popular Music in Sheffield 1973-1984.

New US dates in New York and San Francisco have been announced, plus a festival in Murcia, Spain.

It remains to be seen whether Russell Senior will take part in these shows. His fear of flying prevented him from playing most non-UK shows last year. The 'Can we conquer our phobias?' message on the official site might imply that it is at least a possibility this time.

On 10th January Pulp confirmed via their twitter feed and website that they would be playing both weekends at this year's Coachella festival, which takes place at Indio, California in April. They will play on Friday 13th and 20th April.

These will be the band's first Northern American shows since the This Is Hardcore tour in 1998.

Jarvis will give a talk about and read from Mother, Brother, Lover at Rough Trade East record store, London on Monday, 5th December (7pm). This will be followed by a book signing session.

A wristband is required for entry which must be obtained in advance by buying Jarvis' book either at the Rough Trade East store or on the Rough Trade website. Places are limited so it is advisable to buy a copy as soon as possible if you wish to attend.
